Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country.

(Franklin D. Roosevelt)

OUR MISSION

We pledge to resist policies that deprive people of their rights to jobs, homes, quality and affordable healthcare, education, sustainable environment and decent incomes.

"Politics ought to be the part-time profession of every citizen who would protect the rights and privileges of free men."

Dwight D. Eisenhower
